quad 48mm bike CV and flat slide carburettors

Fellas would it be too much work to buy 2 sets of these and turn them to run as angled sidedraft quad setup?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-VTR1000-VT ... p=mtr&hash=item3c9db98bd6 Its for the kawasaki zx14 head on the ca18 1.9 litre that will need bigger carbs stock throttle body efi is 46mm I figure I need 48s for 200hp or a bit more.

Turn the fuel/air mix 90 degrees? I'm shocked.

will be sitting at the same factory angles
but just side by side for a stack of four instead of facing each other.
