its not un-burnt fuel because the lack of smell is it possible that i have a cracked block and if so is it able to be re-sleeved?

How much is a "large" amount? Because most exhausts has a quantity of water in them. You see it fall out the back end on start up usually.
What happens is, when you park a car with a hot exhaust, the metal is at an expanded state. An endothermic transfer causes the exhaust to absorb moisture as it cools, and when the metal contracts it usually traps a bit of the moisture inside. /julius summers You can view topic.
