Hi gents, what is the best way to raise the front end, the ca has really lowered the front and my engineer wants me to have it raised another 20mm
Can I get taller king springs comparing to the standard sized

best to explain what front suspension you have now so we can help
if it's all stock then the king springs will be stiffer (and not drooped from 40years work) so should hold the car much higher anyway king springs eem to be made to order so you should be able to get whatever you want if you talk to them

Not sure on what struts I have but I have commodore brakes from a vr/vn, I have king springs on them now but I need them to be taller/longer than what I got, can I get springs made or strengthen to be even more stiffer up front? I'm also running 15 inch rims ( smallest I can go )
Is this a normal thing to happen or do I need to get a better shock absorber

Its normal with added weight. Yes can get springs made. Not sure if white line still do, but get part number off your springs and contact king springs direct- tell em what you need or pedders even in a bind

Totally unrelated but did you buy the red ute off eBay with a ca and patches of primer?

nothing to do with shock absorbers, if you anywhere near 100mm ground clearance then you surely have lowered or cut springs and just need to get standard height ones
standard ground clearance of sill is well over 150mm something like 180mm maybe measure from bottom of sill to ground (in front of the doors) and tell us the measurement really without knowing what you have in there it's hard to help, but given the engineer has issues surely you had a seriously low setup to start with the extra 20-30kg of a ca is only gonna drop the the car 5-10mm at a guess

do they have standard 1200 strut tops or adjustable?, what a mate did was used a spacer between tower and top of strut, just to get it past,
ps: he used longer bolts, just knocked out the original ones

Could go up in tyres profile maybe? Cheaper than getting springs made
I've seen Commo guys use spring spacers out of a landcruiser lift kit to lift the front up Haha could do that You can view topic.
