Hey guys looking for an initial setting for my single dcoe setup on a stockA15.
After recently buying a used twin dcoe setup i am going to use one of these carbs Stripped down i can see more light through the edge of the butterflys on one than the other carb ( more worn )? So i have 34mm chokes 45 aux venturi 125 main jet 180 air correcter F16 emulsion tube 45 f12 idle 50 pump jet How does this look for a start and is the carb with tighter butterflys the better choice? Thanks for this im looking foward to this setup and would like a good place to start.

yes, use the one with tight throttle shafts. They shouldn't be loose at all.
* 32mm chokes is good for a stock A15 from B310 which has the high-speed cam with 6000 RPM max power. * For a later Vanette A15, which has the low-speed cam, smaller venturis are called for. * 34mm venturis are for A15 at 6500 rpm, such as using dual valve springs and the A12GX camshaft. Or 2-liter at 5500 RPM. That is if I understand the Weber book correctly ... ![]() You can view topic.
