On one hand she will get cheap labour from overseas workers but now Giant Rhinehart ius about to take over the last of the worthwhile print media "The Age" and make it another garbage Murdoch shambles with biased works by corporate friendly writers.

In all honesty yes its unfortunate and yes some good writers that write intelligent articles will end up writing rubbish for the sun. But the size of the paper and its intended audience are out of date with the times. I do think pushing people to digital is also a mistake. Jumping the gun on that one. I won't pay online for news, no matter how well written.

Absolutely online news should be free since most of it is rubbish anyway! I prefer mp3 podcasts from 3cr for now but if one day theres an easy to carry and paper like texture or newspaper visual likeness type ebook Id probably seriously consider one. The Age format has to change thats for sure, A3 would be awesome and easy to stack away or convert to fire bricks.
