Installing handbrake cable

Hey guys,
I'm changing the handbrake cable on my ute but I am a bit stumped on how you attach the new cable to the clevis on the drum brake? Is it a simple method or do you have to solder the cable end back on after putting the cable through? Or was the new cable I bought meant to come with a new clevis attached? cheers

on the front face of the clevis (where your thumb is) there should be a bigger hole to allow the end of the cable to slide through
you could just drill out a hole big enough on that side to fit the cable through

I drilled a hole in mine to allow the slug in the side just above your thumb

Yeah I ended up doing that as I checked the other side and there was a larger hole but missing on the passenger side for some reason.
Has anyone else used one of the handbrake cables off ebay? The cables that go to the other wheel are too short for a ute not sure if its different on the sedan/coupe.
