Took me like 4hrs but built a 510 from scratch last night and finished it this arvo... just have to fit and paint the shell...

Have the AE86 kit but bought the 510 body for it seperately LOL

these things are pretty fun my mate has a r32 awd not a drift chassis just normal he locked up the diff and we put in a brushless motor the thing flys but still has the nimh battery so only last 10 mins.

LIPO should last alot longer.

are you planning on drifting?

The life of a lipo is determined by the Mah rating if your Nimh is rated at say 6000Mah and your lipo is rated at 3000Mah your Nimh will last longer.
You will save alot of weight running a lipo and gain lots more power.
Most brushless setups will run 7.4V-11.1 Lipo batteries as aposed to your 7.2V Nimh.

And yeh that's correct Andy. I got a E-Revo brushless too runnin 2x 11.1v 3S Lipos, the thing is insane hahaha and they're both 5000mAh and they last a good half hour to 45mins...
