i put one on my sisters ute 1 year ago and have had no problems, works well

where did u put the black wire from the little can thing on the side of the dizzie and did u remove the ballast resistor?

I have one of those kits on my ute, but it was there when I got it. Apparently its been there for about 5 years, and has never been touched. I certainly havent done anything to it (never even lifted the dizzy cap, other than to see what it all looked like, in the last 12 000km) and the old girl still starts every time, with no choke, so personally, I would have to say they are freaking awesome.

hey rooster could u have a quick look at your for me and tell me where this damn wire is supposed to go? its a little cylinder thing off the dizzie at the rear with a black wire hangin off it?
if u have a look could u give us a buzz and let us know cheers man...
