Wanted 1200 diff

Wanted, we want to drop the rev's in our 1200 stock ute, I have read that an early model 4 speed bluebird 3.7 ratio diff is an option.
Does anyone have one close to Canberra or any other suggestions?
Thanks

what year is the ute?
if its an early one, i think 71-74/75 then it will have the smaller diff in it (same as other 1200 diffs) in which case the bluebird centre will not work if its the later one, 75 onwards then a 4 door 4 speed series 1 bluebird should have the centre you are after. otherwise other series 1 and 2 bluebirds and jap assembled stanzas will have 3.9:1 ratio diffs that will do the job

Thanks guy's, you sure know your Datsun's..
The ute is an 81 model and it sounds as if I'm on the right track.. I just have to find one though. Murray.

Id too be interested to see how you'd go with a 3.9 diff, im running my 4.1 with a mild a12 and 4 speed and sitting at around 100-110 km its revving at around the 3.5 grand mark.
