The 71 Datsun 1200 has an engine leak
Leaks between head and block between 2 and 3 spark plugs
Also has a small tranny leak on the auto box

Can anyone recommend a mechanic not that far from Dianella
I can drive it but I have stripped the interior seats out and will have to bolt the drivers seat in again

Don't want anyone that wrings their hands together in glee when a woman walks in not knowing exactly what needs fixing, been told head is fine because radiator is clear and oil isn't milky was told just may need gasket

Also have a full set of Tyres and rims off the Datsun 1200 going to anyone that picks them up
Rims a little rusty but Tyres still have a lot of meat on them, been in shed used as spider homes for a while, want shed back

I have taken a photo of the engine leak on my phone and can text it to anyone hat can recommend someone to fix it

if i was still in perth i would give you a helping hand and am sure a few people in perth could. sounds like just a head gasket would do the job. The only place i can think of is riccadello motors in highgate (used to work there), it was a shell but i dont know if it is still going. basil the owner is a very good mechanic and have quite alot of good people there but dont know what sort of price you'd be lookning at but you could just give them a call to find out
