Hi all,
I have never gone to this DIY extent. I have the 120y service manual detailing how to disassemble the engine, but the fact that i have never done this before, i need some help about the steps to follow in the process like where to start, how to remove and and reassemble the pistons without damaging, other checks, hints & tips etc Thnks for sharing your experience Yasseer

Most 120Y service manuals cover all that. Does your's list disassembly? Tap them out with the wooden handle of a hammer. And cover the rod bolt threads with rubber tubing when re-fitting so the crankshaft finish is not nicked.
Basically you only need to lightly hone the cylinders and fit the new rings. The hardest part is cleaning the block after the honing is finished. Normally re-bore and new pistons are not required. But if you can feel the ridge with your fingernail, then use a ridge-breaker before removing the pistons -- and measure the cylinder bore with micrometer to ensure it is within wear limits.
