Don't touch that l16, just do the head and cam and put it on petrol.
The bottom end is already set up, unless you bore it to 85mm and put l28 flat tops in it.....

Plus any one know any one coburg way that machines heads? I need to skim mine flat most likely.

Its probably a bit further out of the eastern suburbs. Cavehill engine services in Lilydale. Stu knows his stuff. Such good work that I send my engine components down from Sydney.

Headspec in Clayton are brilliant. Super friendly guys and do a brilliant job.
They've done all my GTR engine work and the work is perfect.
