Common is carbs maybe cam. Xhaust too. Im being vauge as what do you wan. Torque or top end. You may need consider brakes suspension gearbox and diff too.

![]() Some fairly common modifications: Electronic ignition. Weber 32/36 carburettor. A14/A15 engine swap. Oval Port Head. Extractors. Camshaft regrind.

electric fan rather than pulley. lighten the flywheel a little bit, better clutch.

I read a post a long time ago.
I drilled holes in my chassie rails to make the car lighter. DONT DO THIS....... How about a a14/15 conversion....

Lighter means quicker accleration. Lightening holes are used by race cars.
To go harder, the most common modifaction is larger engine: A14/A14, L16/L18/L20B, or CA18DE/CA18DET. You can view topic.
