Can anyone lead me to somewhere I can get a new harmonic balancer for my a14 ?

A14s did not come with a harmonic balancer nor does Nissan sell one. So you can contact a specialist company.

ROSS make balancer's, but they are far from inexpensive.

You can sort of make it out. I ended up making my own HB and converted to a PK-5 ribbed belt while I was at it.

Does anyone sell the standard a14 crank pulley ?

STD A-series crank pulleys are all interchangeable.

are there any aftermarket dampeners off the shelf for the A series?

I looked on the ROSS site, but couldn't find any listing specifically for teh A-series. they did have one in there:

NISSAN 304501 METAL JACKET Harmonic Balancer / Crank Pulley Damper

the part number is 304501 but it doesn't list what engine it is for. Is there any chance this one is for the A series?

They also list about 4 items for the original mini BMC a-series engine. I haven't measured them up, but is there any chance we could be so lucky as to be able to adapt one of them?

If not, anyone know of any other aftermarket 'real' dampeners for the A-series engine?

There used to be one from ROSS for the Datsun A series but not anymore unless you supposedly pay upfront and they will make one up for you. However at 450-550aud I prefer to risk it and just stay standard :)

What powerfigures have you got in that engine Benny, at what rev is it necessary to mount a harmonic balancer?
