Hi there, I have a green 71 1200 with brown interior. I want to restore it and keep it completely original but I'm having a hard time finding the right vinyl with the right color to restore the seats and door cards. Does anyone have any info on this? (Btw, dunno if you can see the interior color in that picture, going to take some interior shots tomorrow and will post them after)

Apparently, brown interior is local content, not offered in Japan or in USA.

I would go to an upholstery supply shop and have them match the vinyl.

Thanks ddgonzal, this car was bought in portugal by the previous owner in 1971. Yes, I'm actually the second owner this 120000km 1200 has :D.

Here are the interior pics, the thing is that they seem to have that wood-like (imo) color shading, and the resto vinyls I see around these parts are rather plain :/... Also, I don't remember seeing that vinyl grain before (that's probably due to my lack of knowledge about interiors) Maybe this one was a special order? I've only seen one with brown interior, and it was restored in the portuguese fashion, #OOPS#ty chocolate brown leather, my guess was that it had the same vinyl as mine.

Also, while I'm asking, last time I fired up the car the fuel pump was leaking like a fountain. Are there any rebuild kits available? If not, can I still find an original one to replace mine?

Yes, there are fuel pump rebuild kits available. I bought one a couple of years ago.
