Im looking at getting new rear shocks for my swb sunnytruck.
It sits pretty low, roughly 35-40mm rear travel with shortened bump stops.
Im after a stiffer shock than stock.
I have heard of some 1200's using certain 4x4 shocks but I'm having trouble finding any info on which ones to use (pajero?)
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Every replacement shock available nowadays is stiffer than stock.

Perhaps this would work? early VW Type I - 255 compressed length (vs 288 stock)
KONI KO-80-1349 adjustable (450N/900N)
KONI KO-80-1350 adjustable (750N/1050N)

Stock ute valving was 450/900. It need shocks with two eye-mounts.

Thanks very much for that, I ended up gettting a pair of type1 vw munroe gt shocks this arvo.
After feeling the difference they made to how firm it rides im glad i didnt get a harder pair.
Its a totally different ute now, much more nimble, luvn it.

Glad it worked out. Sounds like your old shocks were worn out, as the stock shocks were not soft.
