#1 weber 45 dcoe query. .. fuel leak
Posted on: 2013/9/28 9:38
I installed the single 45 dcoe weber on my l18. Came of mr baristas stock l20b. Was.wirking fine.
On mine I noticed the socks got damp from fuel leak some where. Tightened all the seals and traced it to the spring tension on the throttle return arm.

Spring was too stiff so softened spring and drives ok but still got a slight weep of fuel out the rear trumpet when stopped. Im worried bout a fire.

Any advice on what parts to look at and possibly replace.
First time ive ever had a dcoe so im not familiar with them.

Check the float level. The chamber breather is on the front face above one of the throats if the float level is too high it might be causing a bit of a weep. Not sure if the return spring would be causing much of a problem.

I dont know how to check float level. I read up on it but I need to be shown first before I can do it.
