there is no specific kit for it - member: orange1200 did it..

its a small block chev 350 gilmer drive setup

the alternator pully fits no issues, the water pump one needs the bolt holes larger (machined so its still balanced) and the crank pully needed to be machined as well as the hole needed to be larger and for the keyway along with a new gilmer V-Belt the correct size

cost him around $280

If thats what i remember correctly for it but he did alot of the work himself..

It can certainly be done just alot of fidelling around to get it right

here is his video from ages ago

there is really no real reason to do it besides no belt slip.. it can actually put more pressure on things and brake components from what others have said... i myself would love to do it just for the whirl sound i personally think its awesome and i think a fair few people would want to do it but there is no specific kit

You can buy a gilmer belt in any size. See Gilmer drive.

Use a 12a rotary kit the pulleys are smaller which is better, filters usually flog out the alternator and water pump

Driven load on the belt has a flywheel effect for the engine.
As such a cog belt system would act like a solid "flywheel" and the v belt drive system would be like a viscous damped harmonic dampener.

Wider belts should make more whine, closer teeth would give a higher pitch whine.

I had a tape of turbojet whine playing on the sound system of my motorcycle, it fooled a pilot. You could do something like that. Place a weather resistant horn speaker near the engine, cut off output to the other speakers and make the engine sound like anything you want.
