No Spark on Rebuilt B210

Hi Guys
Just after few years rebuilt i am in a process of assembling my b210 back,Yesterday i fixed everything related to start the engine except wiring harness and gave relevant voltage connection manualy through an ignition coil and found that ignition coil secondary circuit doesn't provide spark to the distributer,so to double check my ignition coil i fixed the same ignition coil to the b310 and there it worked perfectly so i am sure i have a wiring issue or contact point issue , what check list should be carried out to sort out this issue,i have almost every ignition part brand new except distributor in this car thanks regards sumith

Try replacing the condensor on the dizzy. Mine was the cause of weak spark and the car wouldn't fire. I had replaced everything else (points, leads, dizzy cap, coil, coil resistor, plugs) and this was the culprit. A $5 part

Most common reason is spark plug wires are not in the correct order. See Ignition Timing

Hi DD
Ok , i will check it again in the week end, my distributor is in middle of the engine i think it also has the same firing order ,Took it to the 5 BTDC and installed the distributor line up with Terminal 1 in the Distributor cap and then set the Contact point then after it started on first key but backfires on low idle when higher rpm less back fire, is there any reason for it to cause this problem other than firing Order ? thanks regards sumith You can view topic.
