Tacho not working

hey im new to this and just bought a datsun 1200, drives fantastic. But the tacho does not work, can somebody please tell me what i need to do (parts) and how i do it (procedures) cheers.

Most likely no parts are needed just make sure the connections are good. See Tachometer Wiring.
