Do we need the block breather pipe or can we just block it off ?I would think the Rocker cover breather would be enough ?Pollution control is not an issue

Like you mentions no pollution issues so just vent block to atmosphere. Block breathers do have a purpose or you will be putting pressure elsewhere.

Queensland folk have been defected for not running the factory breather hose (or equal) from rocker cover to air cleaner.
