forged pistons or standard

hi I have been told that if I am going to turbo an ;A; series engine that I will have to use forged pistons other wise I will just blow the tops of them. that is the standard pistons there must be people out there who can point me in the right direction I only work on other peoples experiences as I am not on an unlimited budget so every saving helps thank you people

std pistons are up to the job. quite a few member have achieved very reliable boosted A-series with moderate to extreme power.

sorry about that..a1400 bored to 1st oversize, h89 head double valve springs may be larger valves.. engine balanced, cam not sure what duration, car for street use with a bit of squirt t25 turbo charger. blow through system either webber 32/36 or holly 350-500 with one venturi blocked of and converted to run top hat on blow through system hope this makes sence as it is in the devolpment stages that is why am asking for advice.

Im looking at building a a12 turbo. I already have one atm but from what I have read is that the a12 is stronger and can handle higher boost than a a14/15. I dont know if its true but mine hasn't blown up. Also a12's are cheap and usually u dont have to change compression

this is why i am asking advice everyone has different experiences that i listed the mods i was thinking about all info helps also if you are using blowthrough system on the turbo does the box seal between the manifold and the carb .....thanks
