#1 CA18DET RUNNING TEMPERATURE

Hi guys can anyone tell what temperature their CA18 runs at,im looking at engine enamel and want to make sure that its the wright stuff.I know vht's temperature range but have read reviews and its not as good as the brand im looking at,apparentlly vht fades.

Vht works fine on my l series. Was 2008 when done. It's still red from previous owner.
IMHO you'd be better off painting all the accessories going onto the block in better quality and the block paint will fade with the thermal heat cycles the block goes through anyway.

It may sound silly but seriously you should use water paint like they have at kindergartens, it works the best

best stuff I used is $2 enamel paint from any supplier
for manifolds use a ceramic coating service in Melbourne
they are around 160-170 aud in silver or black being the most durable
