Not that I want to question the guru round here, but you sure its an a10?

The exhaust manifold is curved and the thou one is squarish.
I'm sure the starter motor should be on the other side.
Those engine mounts are just plain weird.
The fry pan uses those side clips. All my fry pans use a nut in the centre to wind it down.
The fry pan is on a strange angle and the handle should point over the rocker cover
The sump plug is in the wrong spot as well. A thou sump plug is in the bottom of the hump, not the side.

And what is with the rocker cover? What's that hole at the front?

As for the gearbox, it almost looks like an auto box with that big flat bottom.

You may be right about the engine.

Datsun 63-series 4-speeds (for example, 1300 utes and 1600 sedans) have a bottom pan like that.

Datsun 63-series 4-speed gearbox

4-speeds came with bottom pan (FSW63L old style) or without bottom pan (FSW63B new style). 5-speeds never came a bottom pan.
