#1 intermittent wipers
Datman95 Posted on: 2015/4/18 12:08
I just recently fitted two set ups of intermittent wipers in a 71 and 78 1200 ute AUS

And i notice the original plugs are diffrent (71 are flat blade and 78 are big round pins) and the wires are in diffrent spots in the plugs
Im only saying this cause its not in the tech page and i thought i say this for people who attempt to fit intermittent wipers in the 1200 ute

Please add that info to the tech page Intermittent Wipers.

How did it turn out? Did you source a 4-position wiper switch?

Does your 1978 1200 switch look like this 1978 620 switch?

The switch I used was from 1992 1200 and had six flat blades.

The 78 ute non intermittent wiper switch looks like that one you put a photo up

I got the japan 6 pin switches from japan work mint

If u worked it out you could probly use the original 1200 plug you just eliminate the slow speed of the wiper mechinesm you just run the intermittent wire to the low side of the plug
