Interesting unit made from a Redline A14 manifold. Uses BMW M3 injectors, fuel rail & throttle body.

Simple, effective, inexpensive. Dig that fuel rail.

Central Fuel Injection

8kW improvement on the engine. Fuel consumption from 9.5km/L to 11km/L.

DD in that video it has two injectors on either side of the Main plenum. Wouldn't those have issues with puddling?

I have considered doing the same thing but pointed inline down the common runner on both sides, but my worry is if this would cause uneven fuel distribution between intakes ports.

What would be your hypotheses?

Thanks for pointing that out. I figured it was CFI.

A stocker puts fuel into the plenum via the carburetor. Seems OK in this setup since the injectors are in the runners which are slightly downhill. But even if there is no puddling it is not taking advantage of the factory hotspot like the CFI setups.

Gotcha. Hot spot creates evap of the petrol.

customs

The one made out of a standard manifold is especially interesting.

Its interesting I agree, but couldn't they find an elbow for the down portion? Clean setup though.
