Is a broken A12A worth anything?

I have a 1971 (estimated) A12A with a spun connecting rod bearing. Everything else, from the carb to the exhaust flange, is present and in usable shape, but the crank and one rod need work.
Is this worth anything at all? Honestly, I feel like the price of getting the crank reground and new rods exceeds the value of the whole engine, so I'm tempted to take the works to the scrapyard, or maybe put the head/carb up on ebay and toss the block/crank. But is the head even worthwhile trying to sell/ship? It's old and A14's are plentiful, so is there any point even bothering? Thoughts?

A12A first came out in 1977
The parts are as useful as A12 parts. The rods are worth a fair bit as they allow you to put A14 pistons in an A12. The crank is same as A12 but is the newer scalloped type. ![]()

Sorry, A12 -- front distributor.
So, maybe worth piecing out on ebay?

Sure, you'll sell some of the parts on eBay, but probably not every part. If the carburetor was in good working condition, that will sell easy. Starter, distributor, etc will sell if cheap enough. Start with low prices and let people bid it up. Better than throwing it away.
