is it that one i see at the 4wd shows they use them for 4wds that go to the beach a lot and in mud and water it uses electricity to kill the bacteria or some thin like that it kills some thing the rust needs to start growing
but it doesnt always work its used on the shazee rails and things if its the one im thinking of if you want a good one go to the 4wd shows and go into a 4wd stand like the ones that sell all the acessories like shackles and snatch straps and things

the thing is there is no physical way to stop rust as it is a atmospheric condition

as we all know rust is a chemical reaction. the oxidation of iron. i cant see how electrically charging a car can inhibit this. maybe im wrong but i dont think so.

They have used a similar system on big ships and pipelines since about the 1800s.
It is called Cathodic protection. It is too involver to do a big explanation of it here. Do a google search on Cathodic protection or check here for a bit of an explanation Cathodic Protection or here under Corrosion heading More info The idea has merit, and looks well proven. I have seen a Cathodic protection kit in Supercheap here for $200, and was going to get it, but dont have the bucks at the moment.
