I don't know part numbers but the later model B-210 and B-310 A-14 and A-15 engines had an electronic distributor.

Hey Benny,

I actually posted a similar item a couple of weeks back in regards to the dizzy.
If you check back through the main forum you can read the responses I got.
Basically they mention a Pulsar dizzy with a modified drive gear to suit.
I think someone actually sent in a photo of the mods required, check it out.

I took my old dizzy to a local guru with 2 other old units from different vehicles and said "make me one for an A series"
He said it would be too hard so he went down the back.....took one of an A series that already had electronic......apparently they came out on leter ones.....and reco'd it for me for the staggering price of $0.
Not a bad deal if I say so myself.

I know the motor was an import one they had shipped in from Japan but I don't know what it was off.

I still haven't used the dizzy but when I get the car running (hopefully soon) I will be using it.

We built one for my A15 by removing the top plate of the original (the one that has the points mounted to it) and replacing it with the top plate from a later Sunny engine (Fwd SOHC 1500) all within the original distributor body, which means you don't have to modify the drive.
I still have the rest of the engine so I will get the model number and post it for you.

Yep, any A14 or A15 dizzy should work without changing the gear. B210/120Y dizzys work, that's what I used. You just need to swap the adjustment bracket (with the slotted bolt hole). Grab the coil and the wiring and it's a bolt in. Quite simple and fixes the old A12 damp-weather starting problems due to the larger cap. Plus no points problems ever again.

That Pulsar dizzy mentioned might have been an E15 unit.

I've checked the model of the engine I lifted the electronic distributor from and its definitely an E15.

Cheers,

A-14 from a B210 or A12A from 210 , that's what we folks in the U.S.A use.
