As I tell You before. I got one in fair condition, now has been recondition a it is looking really really good.
BUT..... I need some Inf. About the finish on the wheel. Is it matte or gloss? I asume they were matte and got really shiny with time. Maybe some of You may chip in since I myself never seen a new steering wheel.

If you are making a long-term project out of your steering wheel, then yes, move the question.
To answer your questin, the steering wheel does not have paint of it, gloss, matte or otherwise. It is black colored plastic, not paint. The rim is shiny black. You can view topic.
