Wheel Bearing help

Hi Guys,
I bought this new wheel bearing kit for my 1200 ute which came with a "collar" as well. However I cant find a way to fit the whole thing with collar :( Without collar everything fits fine. Was wondering if there is a purpose for that collar. I am pretty sure there was none with the old bearing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Ron Attach file:  Capture.JPG (64.03 KB)

That is part of the bearing, it's called the outer race. The old one is stuck in the hub, you can knock it out with a drift (or a screwdriver). The carefully tap the new one in evenly all the way in, be careful not to put a mark on it
