I've used ,not his one exactly, but similar on my A12 and A15. Works a treat. Only one extra +12v required to run it - easy

Yes, that's a chinese clone of the Mitsubishi unit Sunny Truck Electronic Distributor. The main difference is the clamp (austin style) which allows use in either early or late engines
It is unknown which ignitor it uses or how reliable it is

If you want less trouble, keep the stock point ignition, and replace the Points & Condensor every 12 months. No worries, and performance will be as good as Electronic ignition. Only when points get old and out of adjustment do performance suffer
