#1 B310 rear control arm measurements
AFRacer Posted on: 2016/10/7 12:29
Sup fellas, trying to find out the length of the rear control/trailing arms on the B310. Looking for bolt center to bolt center and then the width where the bushing sits, or width of the bushings. My car is 2200 miles away and I couldn't find it listed anywhere online. Thanks in advance!

Not a direct answer, but here is some info. As I recall,
* A10 (1977-1981 510/Stanza/Violet) uses the same control arms
* S110 (1980-1983) uses same
But they are more Heavy-duty. They use the same bushings but are metal-clad for more strength. The metal bushing shell can be cut off and bushings used on the B310

Hi.
I have a spare lower arms in my hometown. But I didn't go this weekend to measure.
However I went underneath my b310 and got 490mm for long and 280mm for short lower arm. Between bolt hole centre. Hope its correct.

AE86 control arms are approximately 240mm and 480mm...with the availability of adjustable control arms for AE86, you can guess what I'm thinking...

Mark Alford had adjustable arms in his B310. I can remember him going through trying different angles, & the standard angles were best. So, you might find the AE86 arms get adjusted to the standard lengths.

Yeah stock pinion angle must always try to be maintained. The adjustability is for when you start messing around with lowering, and engine and diff swaps so you can bring it back to whatever the stock pinion angles are. Best is the predictability and control of the car being increased due to getting rid of binding rubber bushings.
