Those seats look like the type that only Coupes came with in my country. Did all GL come with the sporty seats?

Yes, GL/GX came with the sporty type seats. Part numbers differ sedan/coupe

1972 sedan
STD/DΧ straight cut
STD: black FIXED (non-reclining/non-folding)
STD 2-door: FOLDING
DX: black or yellow vinyl RECLINING with STD seatback

GL/GX sedan sporty-cut type (look like coupe seats)
GL: black RECLINING with 5-line cloth inserts
GX: black RECLINING with cutout cushion
GX5: with HIBACK seatback with GL cushion

The Datsun parts catalog JDM doesn't list any blue seats, but I've seen plenty of them. It lists green interior which I never seen. Early brochures list the green too

More on the GL sedan seats. Yes they look like coupe seats ... GL is cloth while Coupe DX is vinyl

Both are cut to the same x-pattern and 5-rib style
