#1 Datsuns at uni!

Today in my Design History lecture, we were shown a front page of a book by Deyan Sudjic, this British pompous prick had written an article on "Why the Morris Minor is nicer to know than a Datsun".
The class of 400 was then asked who agreed with him, the answer, just 1! The rest disagreed completely! And that's just from a design point of view, i was chuffed!

Excellent!!

I would have thought 50:50. Goes to show that the love of Datsuns is growing.
I had a neighbour from down the road come and talk to me the other day. He told me how his 13 year old son is totally obsessed with 1600s. He's got photos everywhere, and he doesn't understand why his son is lusting after cars that he too wanted when he was young. I think Datsuns are really popular up my way, for kids between 13 and 21.

My Dad is into low-light Morris Minors ('56 model) or something.. He used to have a few when I was growing up. But he sold them. He keeps talking about turbo charging the old sidevalve 4 cylinder...
