Nissan CA Series Engine Question
converted
Posted on: 2003/3/13 1:18
Will a the head from a CA18 DET with turbo setup fit onto a CA20 block which is normally aspriated with a twin spark head?
OR will a CA18DET fit straight onto an 4 speed auto box which currently has the CA20 twin spark fitted? It is a Nissan Pintara wagon....which if doesnt sell may be used for a tow car for a 1200 race setup.

I own a R31 Skyline as my daily driver and recently had a towbar fitted. Their towing capacity is too low for a car and trailer.

The car would come to 670kgs and trailer 500kgs. I thought the wagon could handle 1200kgs tow package....I guess Im cuttin it fine arent I.
Its just Teretonga and I pulled over a 50ft conifer with it....I has a bit of a heritage and a few laughs with it...

I'm pretty sure that the Auto will keep up with a CA18DET. Chris.
