My starter keeps cranking the engine even with the key turned off. Do these cars have a starter relay? BTW, it's a 73 coupe. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look for a short in the solenoid energising wire or a sticky/shorting solenoid

Remove the solenoid and if it serviceable oil the slide

As feral and wally implied, the "starter relay" is in the soleonoid attached to the starter. 1200s do not have a separate relay a la Ford style. The relay might be bad, or the spring inside might be broken,
For Chevrolet engines, if the starter-to-flywheel gear spacing is bad, this can also happen (that's what those GM shims are for) ... although unless your starter housing has been machined or doesn't fit right, it's unlikely this would happen to an A-series starter. You can view topic.
