I must of been on drugs last week when i wanted to sell the coupe......

I went out in my jocks on sunday morn and gave the girl a little prod, woke the neighbours and thought to myself your on drugs buddy.

So to all i must say that the 1000 coupe is off the Market and Cam and I are committed to the Vic State Champs next Year.

We went down to Sandown a couple of weeks ago and based on my times in the car (with no real time going into setup etc) I we think we have a excellent show in the under 1600 class

Anywho off to the freakin feezin Island for the next round of the club championship on the 27th should be fun if it's not wet. Would be good to see some of the lads there.

By the way I'm leading the championship with Maxium points which is upsetting the powers within the club.....see he thinks that non marque cars should not be eligible for the overall club championship.... ####in sook just cos i flog him in his Z car and his Roadster......get a faster car or go home i say.

So thanks to the boys on the list who told me not to sell and hope the coupe goes hard.

Are you running in under 2L sports sedan or another class ?

I heard a rumour of a meeting at the freezing island in about November and have been asked to have my car ready to bring over for it .....heard anything about it ??

Why is your car non marque?

Good to hear Steveo. I was a little surprised that you were selling after all the reports of what an awsome car it is. I reckon with a ripper injected A15 I reckon you could shake up the boys in the big cc class.

buggered if know.... the only marque dattos are Z cars and roadsters,

I thought non marque was when you carry non nissan engine but nothing to do with the braking. Well youre gonna have to get the jts flywheel 200hp injec a15 or steve newings ca18 with 230hp and blow them out of the water till they cry!

'marque' is a class of 2nd category (Sports Car) racing. The 1000 is a 3rd category touring (production) car. Coupes versions of 4 door cars are not sports cars. The 240Z, 260Z, and Sporties (fairlady 1500, fairlady 1600, and Sports 2000) are the only sports cars Datsun made.

But if you are a member of their club, I reckon you should be eligible for their club championship...

Just sooking old bastards who crack the ####s when they don't get there own way.

They don't mind when you pay your annual subs for the year then pay $90 per event, $50 on a trailer, $100 plus on motion lotion and hope you dont break anything on the day........

Geeez this gets me going, sorry lads.

Which island is "Freezing Island"?

The 'Freezing Island' is better known as Phillip Island Racetrack. It is at the bottom most point of victoria and you are literally metres from Bass Straight at one point of the track. 9 times out of ten there is a freezing wind blowing from the antactic. Having said that it is the track they use for the moto gp, superbikes and the local V8 supercar series. It's is a fast flowing track where you really need big balls to put down good laps.......a lot of fun!
