#1 Possum

We just had a news flash on TV here in NZ to announce that Possum's life support system has been turned off.............thats another bloody good bloke lost in such freakish circumstances. I first met Possum in the early 80's when he was a truck driver pedaling a very battered RX3 coupe. I ended up owning that car and by the time I got it, it was stuffed. Possum was always low key and friendly and motorsport in Australasia has lost a huge asset and his shoes will take a lot of filling...........

Thats right Brent, I know it is a real slim chance but I know deep down we'd all still like to see him pull through regardless of how the odds are stacked against him. Hang in there Poss.....

Wednesday 30th 12.58 am Possum passed away...... There will be no repercussions to rallying as the crash occurred on an open road a day before the Gold Rush Hillclimb. Eye witness accounts claim that the vehicles involved were travelling no faster than 60 km.
