#1 how can I tell if I've got a Weber 32/36?!?
matty Posted on: 2003/6/7 14:07
Bought an A14 a couple of days ago and got a Redline manifold and Weber with it. But I can't find anything on the carbie that says what type it is apart from the Weber stamp! Is there a serial number or something that I'm missing?
Thanks Matty

If its a downdraught, it will have the model number stamped on the flange that bolts to the manifold.

Thanks guys. Couldn't see the markings because there was a heap of crud over them. It is a 32/36.
Any idea on how much it will cost to have this carbie totally rebuilt?
Thanks Matty

This carb is extremely easy to rebuild (as carbs go). If you are careful and the type to pay attention to small parts, do it yourself. Just get a Weber book that shows how.
