12" rims...need some advice

My KB10 has 12" rims. I don't know about the rest of the sunny's but i have drum brakes on all four wheels. I tried putting some 13" on but they wouldn't fit, do i need to change the brakes so that they fit newer wheel sizes or is there just a few different types.
I wanted to put discs on anyway, what's compatible and easy to do in the garage.

umm they porably wouldnt fit beasue of the Mags offset, i have drums all round and got 14x6 mags on
 just got to find the right offset and stud pattern, and much faster with biger rims
