A15 turbo pistons

Can anyone tell me is there work number for a A15 (or A14) JE-pistons, for turbo use (Flat top would be good)?
Or do you know are there any other good pistons for turbo use? I have destroyed already 2 motors, standard pistons are not strong enough. I am using 1.4 bar boost.

Dude lower your boost am I right saying 1bar = 14.3PSI??? I can't remember it right. No stock pistons handle that much boost too well, flat tops will increase compression resulting in detonation, your best bet is going with forgies they could withstand a nuclear blast
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere Cheers Damo

conversion is correct, dunno bout the nuclear blast bit though

The forgies will be able to take the boost, but your block won't for much longer.
Also 1 Bar is 14.7psi so 1.4 bar is 20.58psi.

The block can handle 2 bar boost at least, because I have already used it , the only broblem seems to be standard pistons which go broken in a middle of the piston rings I only want to know is there already reasonbly cost and enough strong pistons for turbo use. (Wiseco, Je or something?)

My JE's were around $300AUS each without rings.
From my dealings with turbo A-series, although they have an iron block, after being subjected to sustained boost levels above 1 bar they bores seem to be out of round. Resulting in massive amounts of blow by.

Most companies in the US will sell custom forged pistons any way you like them for $80-150 per piston. JE is probly the most popular, just contact them from off the internet and see what they can do for you. You'll probably have to send in one of your stock pistons and measurements (combustion chamber cc's, etc). That's a lot of boost though! I'm surprised it's just the pistons breaking! I figured the rods and rod bolts would be the weak spot. Watch out when you get the pistons to finally hold up under that boost! I think the block will take anything you give it. Good luck!

Boost DOES NOT hurt pistons! Heat & detonation does. fix these 2 problems & standard pistons will not break, just wear out.
