Hi!
I've found a B310 ia a scrapyard with a 5 speed box, i tried to find out wich engine it has, but the info on the engine bay as A12(A15) on it, i'm guessing it's an A15 because of the gearbox, but i'm not sure, is there a way to identify the engine? If it is an A15 i will buy the engine and box, because they are both very rare in Portugal, most datsun (B210,B310) only come with A12 and 4sp Thanks!

G'Day Mindprobe,
I believe that the actual engine Number should show you. Usually this number is stamped on the block directly below the number 2 spark plug. The prefix to the number should say A12 or A14 etc. whatever the engine was made as. ![]()
