I have this slight problem with my 120Y farm hack "The Defect", because I thrash the crap out of it the auto is starting to slip BADLY and because I have a 4 speed manual tranny, clutch and associated bits, spiggot bush (infact EVERTHING to do the conversion but the blown head gasket(and the slipping auto) I have to rev the guts out of it in neutral then stick it in either reverse or drive (depends on situation at the time) and I'm more than a little worried that the motor will go BANG because of the gearbox conversion. will the gearbox conversoin or help the situation??

I think the real problem might be the "owners treatment" of the poor thing.

But fix the headgasket (so it idles, and allows you to put it into gear), Also doing the manual conversion will lighten the car by 50kgs and you'll have some gears.

What's slowing you down? ..fix the farm hack!
