Hi fellow 1200 lovers.
You might remember my 1200 coupe "Blakes Project" photos in members I think.
Well the A15 engine is forsale.
I blew two pistons at Sandown and now have decided to move on to an FJ20.
Engine is balanced, 2 Aria pistons ok, two stuffed, racing cam, although I havent been able to identify it. Ported GX head. crank etc all in fantastic condition.
You might get away with pistons and a hone for the road , but if serious a set of pistons and a sleave or bore is the correct fix.

This engine powered the coupe to several class placings in the the Victorian Hillclimb Series in 2003 an was third in the championships, only beaten by two drivers in the same VTEC powered mini.
When fresh the engine produced really big horsepower in execess of 100KW at the wheels. 15.00sec dead for the quarter. Cost $4000.00 to build.

$700.00 buys block crank etc, head, pistons cam, clutch, lightened flywheel,
Extractors and 6month old side exit exaust.

Carbs inlet manifold and Distributor are not forsale.
