I have a spare Datsun 1200 Ute tailgate panel from a 1974 model which I want to sell. Good condition, would be easy to prepare and respray. Offers around the $140+

do u by any chance have a front left hand panel 4 the tray(u know the 4 that go around the inside of the tray),, its for a 81 model

Tommy, Im thinking about taking mine out and replacing them with steel cut to shape.. My ones are all dented and battered- so replacing them was the easiest way to deal with it...

yea i was thinking about taking all 4 of them out ant the rear tail gate one and making up new checker plate ones, but then again it dont need 2 look all that flash in their cause i just got a tonneau(sorry bout the spelling) cover made up. For anybody that needs a cover 4 their ute in Canberra, go 2 Canberra auto parts, just near woolys servo in dickson!!!!!, their good blokes. Astro boy will your ute be finished by next sunday, theres apparonetly a big cruise down to the cotter or somethin, im thinkin on goin along. All u Canberra dato owners should also think about it!
