No way! The 120Y/B210 was the "economy" model. It has the cheapest solution, a live rear axle. All the Datsun rwd subcompacts used a live rear axle. In some ways this is better than IRS: less weight, more reliable, better for hard launches, easier to tune for handling.

The P510 (1600) and P610 (180B) had IRS, except for wagons, then Nissan went less expensive again for the 710 (Violet/140J/160J) and A10/HL510 (Violet/Stanza). These cars were the compacts.

The 810 & 910 (Maxima/Bluebird) had IRS, but those were Nissan's bigger "luxury" models. The Z-cars also had IRS.

The imported Datsun 200B SSS coupe [810] had an IRS, but sedans had a live axle with coils & wagons ditto but with leaf springs.
Wait,... there is a very early 200B four door sedan in a local wreckers with IRS, so this must have been an imported car.

The Aussie Bluebirds [910] all had live axles
