hey all, done a search but i'm new to this forum type and i'm having trouble with it.

i'm looking for info on how to fit 42mm and 33mm valves in place of the old 37mm and 30mm valves in an A14 head.

what valves do i use? does anyone have a website i can look at?

cheers for any help.

I have 33 exhaust and 38 inlets in mine
I thought orig valve sizes were 30 and 35.
Mine are cut down L series ones
Bearing in mind the bore of an A14 is 76mm and your trying to stuff 75mm of valves in there and still have clearance I'd be thinking maybe 40mm would be max on the inlets.
I went with 38's so I didn't have to notch the blook too much for clearance as they valves protrude below deck height abit like Clevelands.
Check out my dodgy site if you haven't already for details.
I can't make the cruise this weekend.....no car....otherwise we could chat about it then.
