you wrote in your text about the "PB210" and the "Kp210" now what does the "KB210" stand for on my manafacters Plates under the hood of my car?

is that anything different or is it just standard for a 1974 B210?
and also it is stamped as being a 1200 coupe is that weird?

any help.

also any of you guys in japan do you know if you can get a hold of any of the excellent panels for the B210?

the K prefix designates it as a coupe body, and was common across the whole Datsun range in the 70s - eg my 1200 coupe is a KB110, my 240K coupe is a KPGC110.

Yes, KB210 is a regular B210 Coupe (Kuupe).

Where is yours also "stamped as being a 1200 coupe"? Is it a government issue plate? If so, they may have made a mistake. Or if it has an A12 engine, then it really is a "coupe" and a 1200 both, but that doesn't make it a B110.

In Japan, B210 was called "Sunny 1200", same as the B110.
