Im painting my 1200 Ute and have no idea what colour. Ive been going thru mag after mag and searchin the net and still cant find that perfect colour. I dont want anything out there. Just nice and simple. Any ideas?

personally if i were going to paint my 1200 i would pick a colour that suits the era, not a tan or a brown, but maybee a colour availible on commodores in the 70's or 80's but pick the most extravagant colour availible. this way it will look almost a sleeper and original but still have that custom/modifyied look

Maybe a nice midnight blue or something like that with some really chunky metalic flakes to suit the era. that'sw what i think anyway but it all comes down to the owner. maybe British Racing Green

Hmmm! Thanks guys. Better then saying "What ever you wana paint it, its up to you" So yes thanks. I was thinkin like a Spearmint Green. I seen a HQ one tonner that colour and it looked awesome.

But im a chick, i change my mind every two seconds. I need to find my self a panel Beater Boyfriend. Ive gone from Black to White ... Green to Orange .... Purple to Blue.

i see this chick a couple of times a week on victoria rd driving what i think is a LJ torana, it painted in a metealic pale purple that almost looks silver and it looks great (and i hate purple)

stoked....got ne photos...of tha ute that is... i rekon dont go metallic....i went with a flat colour but still grabs as much attention as something metallic...just chek out ne car on tha road....and finsomething u like...my colour is off tha latest holden barina....

At the moment im at work so thats a no. But i can have some for you tomorrow.

But keep in mind its getting a paint job. I mean it dont look too bad now but its kinda retro. Its unique ... one of a kind !
